MELLOW

Assalamualaikum..
Hari ini 10 ramadhan.
Saya memutuskan untuk kembali menulis.

Mari kita recap apa yang telah berlaku:
1. 7 Julai 2012: graduation. Got my medical degree, MD.
2. 5 Oktober 2012: My 1st car
3. 11 Disember 2012: Starting my housemanship.
4. 23 November 2013: Married!!
5. Jan 2014: Good news. EXPECTING..
6. May 2014: Operation for my ovarian cysts during my pregnancy at 25weeks. A long 6 weeks of MC..
7. September 2014: My healty baby boy was born!!
8. Disember 2014: Bought a house
9. Mac 2015: The lost of my lovely paternal aunt to cancer (the 1st in my family with this history)
10. April 2015: My mom was diagnosed advanced malignancy (I am still in shocked)
11. May 2015: My mom had her laparotomy
12. May 2015: Done with housemanship. Im finishing all my leaves (1 month). I took half paid leave for 2 months. Will start working on September. Oh and yes I got Johor.
12. June 2015: Seeing her Oncologist.

Kehidupan yang diwarnai dengan penuh ujian, cabaran dan kebahagiaan. Semoga Allah memberikan kesabaran, kekuatan dan ketenangan dalam melalui semuanya.

Lets count the blessings.

The free bird leaps
on the back of the win
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wings
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.

But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and

The caged bird sings
with fearful trill
of the things unknown
but longed for still
and is tune is heard
on the distant hillfor the caged bird
sings of freedom

The free bird thinks of another breeze
an the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing

The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.
